Salmon Tart, Painted Nails and a Table Revamp #LittleLoves #4

Happy Friday and it’s
Time for this weeks Little Loves.
A chance to reflect on the little bits of good amongst the crazy busy days of trying to get so much done in a day. Being a mum, running a business and generally just trying to get through the day can be tough some weeks-this week was one.

P has been very clingy this week which has made work hard, with a to do list a mile long! But I’ve been enjoying cuddles and giggles and the lovely moments looking at each other and remembering what’s most important.

Its LB’s 4th Birthday tomorrow and everything has been so last minute. We are having a little party and so far I have nothing. No card, no cake, no food & only a couple of pressies! Oops!

This Weeks Little Loves are Salmon Tart, Painted Nails and a Table Revamp!

Read

I’m nearly at the end of Like A Queen by Constance Hall and I’ve thoroughly enjoyed it! I’d totally recommend it for a brutally honest outlook on life with a partner and kids and perfect for listing up woman and saying anything is possible! I’ve still not finished Present Over Perfect so dipping into that when I’ve got a minute too! I never find enough time for reading though.

Heard

New Dance Festival Routines means new music!
This week its been this one for a lyrical duet

Watched

I can’t believe Silent Witness is nearly at the end of the season already it goes so quickly. Looks like next week is going to be a Goodun!

I promised myself I’d watch more films this year. My hubby always laughs as any films I should have seen you can bet your bottom dollar I haven’t. Well after catching the end of Snow White and the Huntsman the other night (I’ve seen it before) I sat and watched The Huntsman:Winters War last night while painting my nails. I really enjoyed it! Nothing like a good swoon at Chris Hemsworth.

Made

Our Meal Plans have been kicking off nicely and this week its been
Spinach and Chickpea Curry with Chilli and Coriander Flatbread, Rosemary Oozing Mozzarella Chicken, Salmon Tart and Vietnamese Hotpot.
Tonight its our treat of Homemade Pizza.

Wore

A new colour on my nails. Though I must admit it felt very grown up for me and as it started to chip off I replaced it with bright blue last night! I can’t believe I actually have nails-I am a biter, always have been, but when I paint my nails, especially with the gel kit hubby bought me last Christmas they grow so well.

And Lastly

Hubby has a new challenge! We were given a dining room table and chairs by some friends when we moved into our house and B has decided to give it a revamp! It’s taking a while but sanding, varnishing, painting and seat re-covering is all underway. I can’t wait to see how it looks at the end.

Have a Lovely Weekend!

Oh how exciting for a new fresh table. Want before and after photos. Those nails are gorgeous I am obsessed with grey on my nails at the moment. Salmon tart looks as delicious as it sounds. Yummy. Hope you are having a lovely weekend. #littleloves

Got the man taking pictures for a before and after blog post don’t you worry! Bet he’ll have forgotten a crucial one though-lol! Thank you-I’m really enjoying having my nails painted again rather than being all bitten down. Lovely weekend thanks-exhausted now. Hope you had a good one too and that you get your eye sorted soon xx
