Silent Witness, Constance Hall and Gammon #LittleLoves #2

Happy Friday Everyone!
Its been back to reality with a bump this week.
Its definitely had its bonuses but its also been pretty exhausting.

This weeks Little Loves are Silent Witness, Constance Hall and Gammon

Read

This week my friend put out on Facebook that she was loaning out her copy of Like A Queen by Constance Hall and would anyone like to read it! Well the response was unbelievable but I was lucky enough to be first on her list! It’s very tempting to pick it up and just read all day as it’s so funny, honest and uplifting but I have so much work to do to I’m only allowing myself to read once I’ve finished certain things or once I’m in bed!

Watched

Me and B have always been fans of Silent Witness and look forward to a new series though this one completely crept up on us. We’ve had to play catch up a little bit but as always it hasn’t disappointed!

I’m currently doing a January Jumpstart Course for my Dance Studio, which involves watching lots of videos and Facebook lives, scribbling down notes and working out how to implement everything to make 2017 a great year for my business (I’ll be celebrating 10 years in June-gulp!)

Heard

A friend came over one night this week and as we are both dance teachers we were chatting about studio stuff and I was saying I hadn’t brought any new music in ages and I’ve got to get some what would she recommend.
Amongst Craig David, Alicia Keys, Emeli Sande there was Bruno Mars.  I’ve always been a fan of his voice since ‘Just the Way You are’ which we walked back up the Aisle to together at our wedding.
She played me this one and I just love how smooth his voice is.

Made

A mammoth meal of gammon, egg, pineapple, chips/wedges and peas. One of my absolute favourites and the leftover gammon makes an amazing Cheesy Potato and Ham soup

Wore

This little one turned 3 months last Sunday and he’s so long. We are certainly making our way into  3-6 month clothes, which I’m rather excited about as this is where most of his new clothes come in. So much of his stuff is passed down from LB or my nephew but this age bracket he has quite a few new bits including this gorgeous vest and dungarees set my best friend bought him for Christmas from Next.

And Lastly

This week has seen me putting in the application for my big boys Primary School place. I went to view our local school on Tuesday and I was really impressed with its facilities, vision and all the additional possibilities including wrap around care, clubs etc. He’ll be 4 in a couple of weeks and I’ve certainly noticed him looking more and more grown up all the time! It’s a daunting time to imagine him heading off into the world without us but at the same time I’m so excited for him!

Have a great week everyone!

Oh, what gorgeous boys you have! I also love Silent Witness, haven’t watched the last part of the series yet though (saving it for when my husband is at work!). I am always trying to find new music – I’m loving Shape of You by Ed Sheeran, have you watched any of Kyle Hanagami’s videos on YouTube? Amazing! Enjoy your weekend xx

My littlest got to school this september it’s crazy to think how fast it goes isn’t it? Hard to let that control go and them out of our hands too. I hated it at first with my son last year. 3 months old so adorable what a fun age. That gammon is making me hungry yummm. Hope you have a lovely weekend ahead. #littleloves
