This week we put P in the bath with LB rather than in his little baby bath for the first time. I was a little wary as I know how much LB loves to splash and throw his toys around, but he promised he’d be good!
And he was!
He’s so caring towards his little brother and was really gentle with him,
even if he did cover him in letters, numbers and vehicles.
P just kicked his legs and grinned away-he seriously loved it!
It feels like P is already growing up so quickly!
He’s only 7 weeks old and already he’s out of one thing and onto a next stage.
This is so much easier for me to do though,
much better than filling up the baby bath with jugs
and bathing P on the kitchen table.
My sister had given me this little bath prop so I didn’t have to hold P the whole time in a proper bath, which is fantastic-much better than I expected it to be.
I can go hands free and just gently splash the water over him to keep him warm.
The boys then got into their PJ’s and cuddled up in LB’s bed while i read them stories. It was really lovely to see how much LB enjoyed having P involved a bit more and P just took it all in his stride. Its also meant he has been bathed a bit more frequently
-yes I was rater slack in the first few weeks!
Stinky boy!
LB is always giving P kisses, cuddles and snuggles and telling him how much he loves him. It really is a beautiful bond already and I can’t wait to watch it grow.
