Cake, Cute Outfits & Our Boys #LittleLoves #42

HiYa!! How’s everyone doing? How’s your week been?

Mines been a little crazy and a little lazy……I’ve got up and about more, driving, taking LB to and from preschool, cleaning the house and hitting the supermarket but also spent my afternoons/evenings on the sofa resting and enjoying cuddles when I feel like I’ve overdone it or my energy levels have hit rock bottom.

This weeks Little Loves have been cake, cute outfits and our boys!Β

Read

I opened my diary this week and tried to catch up on a few bits and pieces but I really have no inclination to work or get anything ‘real’done if I’m honest!

Though the to do list is getting scarily long and I’ll have to tackle it at some point.

I’ve been checking out a lot of new books and putting them on mine and LBs Christmas wishlist too! Mainly recommendations from Morgana and Kerri-Ann including Oi Dog and Oi Frog as well as Present over Perfect.

Heard

My poor little boy getting very uncomfortable in the evening I’m hoping it’s not colic and is just his miserable time as he’s generally so chilled and happy!

Also lots of Mickey taking and ‘Happy Birthday’ sang to my hubby!! The big 4-0 πŸŽ‰

He’s not particularly happy about it as you can imagine however at least he didn’t have the mid life crisis he did at 30 when he bought a bmx and fell off in the car park-tearing his cruciate ligament (which required surgery Β and still causes him problems 10 years later) he didn’t even get the bike to the car!

Watched

I’ve caught up on cold feet, which I am absolutely loving being back and of course watched Strictly. There’s some people I want to hate but actually love and some I wanted to love but they are disappointing! Ore and Danny Mac are two of my faves.

Also sat and watched some cartoons cuddled up with my big boy which has been lovely-he’s seeming so grown up to me right now and it’s seriously making me feel emotional!

Made

Well I didn’t but my sister in law made B a boobie cake for his birthday as we had a mini surprise party for him last Saturday. It was lovely to have family and friends round and enjoy a few glasses of prosecco and a ton of Cake!

That’s three generations of Tanswell’s born within a week of each other now. P on 8th, B on the 15th and Grandad on 22nd! October is going to be even busier for us from now on!

Wore

I’m still very much in comfies though I was pleasantly surprised to find out on day 6 postpartum I had lost a stone and a half, which took me down to half a stone lighter than when I found out I was pregnant. I’m pretty sure all the cake and biscuits I have eaten this week may have rectified that! So many people have treated us and due to not being able to eat treats due to gestational diabetes I have loved this binge though I really must stop it soon!

P has received some very cute little outfits, though mostly seasonal Halloween or Christmas as we have so much from LB.

This little number is one of my faves from some friends …..

As well as this cute polar bear bodysuit which is perfect for the school run ….it’s only up to 1 month but his legs and arms are just nowhere to be seen – bless him!Β

And lastly

Just a few gorgeous baby snaps from this week because he’s just too damn cute….and I’m completely in love 😍

I’m linking up with Morgana over at CoffeeWorkSleepRepeat for this weeks #LittleLoves

Thanks for reading x

I’m loving Strictly too, it’s perfect Saturday night TV. My girls are HUGE fans too!
You are doing so well as a new mummy of two, it’s quite the juggle at time isn’t it? Well done on your weight loss, it took me years to do that! xx

It really is and always gets me excited for Christmas as it feels like a great lead up! Oh bless you thank you-it really is a juggle and I certably have not got everything under control (I may never have that) but we’re getting into a bit of a routine yet I haven’t added my business back into the mix yet so that’ll be interesting! It must have been to do with the diabetes diet as I certainly didn’t get straight back down to pre baby weight (and more) with LB. Now to ty and lose more 😬 as Christmas the pounds will pile back on 😊 x

Oh my, cuteness overload here! I’m intrigued by the boobie cake…not knowing who B is, my mind is working overtime! You’re doing so well with such a young baby and to already lose a stone and a half is incredible! Well done.
