So today Tuesday 13th September 2016 marks 100yrs since Roald Dahl was born.
I live practically around the corner from the Roald Dahl museum which is situated in the village where he lived and wrote for 36 years, yet have never been myself,
I have certainly been inspired by so much of his work though.

I remember reading his stories as a child and watching the films
and more recently have been loving the new musicals of his work.

When LB was born a friend of mine brought him a Treasury of Roald Dahls stories but it looks like such a lovely book that i haven’t even really opened it in the fear of ruining it.  I’m not sure if LB is old enough yet to appreciate them but seeing all the quotes flying about on Social Media today has made me want to remember some of the fab sayings from his stories and his life on my blog.

It’s pure inspiration for how you should live your life!
