Little Loves 16 #6

Happy Weekend Readers!
Here we are at Friday again.
As always the week has flown by, I’ve been feeling in a little bit of a blur this week.
You know one of those weeks where the to do list feels so overwhelming that actually nothing gets done.

Read

Yesterday I treated myself to not 1 magazine but 2.
Nothing like a good deal when two of your favourite mags are packaged together for cheaper!
Not had much time to read but I’ve flicked through.

Watched

The Lion King! It’s been years but man is it a tearjerker 😢

I’m desperate to watch new girl series 4
so if anyone can let me know if it’s on Netflix yet I’ll love you forever!

Heard

Too many early morning wake up calls.
I don’t know whats up with Little B recently.
He just doesn’t seem to want to sleep, up at stupid o’clock,
4.45am being my least favourite and not going to sleep till 9pm.
The worst bit is he’s then a grumpy monkey (yes i was going to write Sod!)
during the day, pushing all of my buttons.

Wore

Little B got a fab little Storm Trooper outfit from his Auntie for his Birthday.

Made

This week I made The big decision to hand in my notice at my part time job at the preschool.
Now financially this is hugely scary but for our family life this has potential to be amazing.

LB is off to preschool after Easter and now I get to spend more time with him and working on both mine and B’s business which I’ve been desperate to do for so long!

It’s going to take a lot of work but I’m desperate to make it work.

And lastly

This quote has kept me smiling this week with the hard decisions!

Love that quote, it’s so true! I always put things off because I’m too fat, or too shy, or too whatever and I need to take the bull by the horns more and just do what I want and not worry about things so much. Kind of takes the enjoyment out of life when you do doesn’t it.

Handing in your notice sounds like it could be amazing for all of you. Good luck, I’m sure you’ll smash it. Have a great weekend x

I love that quote at the end. I think when I was younger I was always a little self-conscious and worried what people thought but becoming a mum has changed that. I never want to stop myself and my son from enjoying things because of my insecurities, and for that reason you may sometimes see me dancing (a little awkwardly, admittedly) in the middle of Tesco, because my little boy thought it would be a good idea! xx

Happy Birthday Little B! How fab is that Storm Trooper costume, my girls would love it!
Exciting news about handing in your notice. I know how scary it is to let go of that financial safety net, but that quote at the end sums i all up doesn’t it? Sometimes you just have to go for it! xx
