This week has felt like a complete whitewash for me.
I was hoping it was going to be a week of inspiration, motivation and get up and go, however last Saturday LB woke up with a temperature
and its gone downhill since.
He has flu, an ear infection and possible tonsillitis and we have spent the whole week on the sofa having cuddles.
I have had to cancel some work, have managed nothing around the house and its been a little all over the shop to be honest!
Anyway heres what I’ve loved this week
My Passion Planner, Cuddles and Cartoons.
I have tried to read my book while LB has rested but he just keeps taking it off me. I haven’t been allowed to do anything except cuddle.
Any excuse hey!
I have however managed to read through the beginning of my Passion Planner, while he napped on me.
A surprise gift from a friend who knew i needed a kick up the butt to get some Plans and Goals underway.
Cartoons, Cartoons and more Cartoons.
Planes and Planes 2 on repeat, however i did manage to get the film Home in for the first time and Alice in Wonderland, which he was surprisingly glued to, before falling asleep on me.
I actually loved Home, especially with Sheldon from Big Bang Theory’s voice. My little sister came to stay and chuckled her way through it, apparently she saw it at the cinema but dad had fallen asleep-Ha!
I did manage to get back to teaching with only a few postponed classes due to doctors appointments. It was lovely to hear everyone excited about our upcoming show and the themes they were giving.
We are doing 4 quarters…
Alice in Wonderland, Toy Story, Wizard of Oz and Peter Pan.
Its going to be a crazy few months, but although mad its my favourite time of the year.
PJs and Joggers.
LB hasn’t wanted me to leave his side, especially the first part of the week. He would hold onto my top every time i needed to use the bathroom, crying and begging me not to go.
It really is horrible seeing your child poorly
and feeling like theres nothing you can do to take it away.
Absolutely nothing I’m afraid unless I can count making my little boy happy by staying with him and snuggling.
He seems to be on the mend a little today.
The antibiotics are obviously kicking in and the appetite is coming back slowly. I am hoping that we can have a quiet weekend to recoup (I don’t know about him but I’m exhausted) and he can fight it all off so we can start next week healthy and raring to go.
Hope you’ve all had a great week x

Hope Little B is ok now and you’re all back into your usual Monday routine. I really wanted to see Home, we didn’t get around to it. I may have to google a Passion Planner, looks great. Sounds like you’ve got a busy season ahead, sounds exciting too xxx
Thank you he has definitely perked up though still not 100%. Yes it’s going to be a mental few months looking forward to Easter already ha!!! X

yes me too, it’s early this year as well. Not too long before some down time xx
Haha we’ve only just started and here we are looking forward to the next break!! X
The watching Planes made me giggle, around this time last year my little boy was obsessed with it and would watch it on repeat. As soon as it finished he would ask for it to be on again, good job I liked the film. xx
Haha it’s a good job it’s enjoyable but I really need something new now lol! And he’s just asked for it again arrrrgggghhhh!! X
Aww poor little thing (and you). Hope the antibiotics have worked and he perks up this weekend x
Thank you! He’s definitely perked up though tends to crash after a while! fingers crossed for a better week next week x
Oh bless you there is nothing worse than your little ones being poorly, last year my girls were the same and I was ready to cry by the end of the week and u couldn’t watch a Disney film again for weeks!! Glad to hear he is on the mend. Have a lovely weekend x
Cheers Natalie!! I definitely need some adult to time! He’s napping I’m watching friends 😜 have a fab weekend x
It’s so hard when they are ill but you are right it will have made him happy to have you snuggling him. I’ve yet to see most of those films but look forward to it.
That’s what’s kept me from going insane! They are good the first and maybe second time I’m loosing it with planes now a bit if I’m honest 😜
So sorry to hear little one has not been well. It’s hard to get anything done when they need you and your cuddles. Sometimes it’s nice to be forced to sit down and take a step back. Hope all is well now. Happy New Year! #litteloves
Yes it definitely forces you to sit! Sometimes I took advantage and others I got twitchy about it! Sad you can’t take it away for them! Happy new year to you too x
