Happy Friday everyone!
So it seems Winter has officially hit, with gale force winds knocking down garden furniture and constant rain making every journey require wellies.
I even decided against taking LB to the turning of the Local Christmas Lights tonight as we couldn’t quite face standing out in all.
So this week we’ve been loving
Oh Lilla, and Scottish Broth.
Read
I ordered and received my first copy of Oh Lilla this week and pretty much devoured it cover to cover in one sitting. It’s so lovely to see some familiar faces in there and some brands i follow on Instagram that I now want to purchase from even more (if only finances were available).
I also enjoyed a coffee and a flick through RED magazine and read a few more chapters of Bear Grylls Facing Up.
I’ve needed to find some me time this week as I’ve been feeling increasingly stressed out and its been lovely to just kick back.
Watched
Mickey Once Upon a Christmas.
Nothing like starting to get into the christmas Spirit and see LB’s face light up seeing the trees, presents, snow and of course
the Big Man himself.
Heard
One of my ex students has started her rehearsals for Legally Blonde,
a current student told eye she’s planning on going to college to study dance which I had no idea about
and a student who went to Uni to do Dance in September
calling for a catch up.
So lovely to know that I make a difference in my job.
Wore
Nothing interesting to report here I’m afraid
but I’ve certainly been wrapped up.
Made
Frustratingly our oven went bang on Saturday and we haven’t got around to sorting it, so its been lots of hob based dinners this week .
Tonight I made Scottish Broth.
It was so hearty and tasty and you could taste how good it was for you.
Beef (should have been lamb), potatoes, carrots, swede, turnip, cabbage, peas, pearl barley and stock.
And Lastly
I’ve felt exhausted this week and if I’m honest I really am ready for that little bit of chill time over Christmas.
That time when no-one expects me to be working and I can give myself a little bit of a break, guilt free.
Some time to be with family and friends,
the time of giving, enjoying, loving and that little bit of sparkle!
Thanks for reading x
Comfort food all the way for this time of year!
It must be fantastic to find out about students past and present that have been inspired to pursue dance further, you are obviously doing a good job! xx

It’s really starting to get cold – under a blanket now! I’m really exciting for all the Christmassy buts to start! I know it’s too early still but I keep creeping little bits in! It was very tasty I must say-very comforting! Have a good one yourself x
