Welcome to this weeks little loves which consists of Dance, Disney and New Clothes.
Read
Not a lot this week I’m afraid! I have started To Kill A Mockingbird but haven’t got past the first chapter.
Am absolutely loving this quote though. I have put it as my laptop screensaver.
Watched
A lot of Disney/Pixar.
We’ve had some really busy mornings this week but in the afternoon we’ve curled up on the sofa and watched a DVD.
Little B won’t go to bed to nap in the afternoon (its hard enough at night), but he obviously still needs one especially after a busy morning, so most days he’s fallen asleep and I’ve done some work watching the rest of the film.
We’ve watched Cars 2, Monsters Inc and Toy Story.
New Ones to add to our list!
On Sunday I went to a friends house and we spent the whole afternoon watching old show DVDs which was so lovely, it was great to see how much the kids have grown and how good they all are.
Wore
I bought a new pair of Jeans in Sainsburys the other day and have been wearing them.
I spend so much time in yoga pants when working, so its nice to wear something different when i’m off.
B bought Little B some clothes in Next a little while back.
These shorts being one of the bits and this was the first time he wore them.
He also had his new rocket t shirt on under his jumper which is super bright and cute.
Heard
Some lovely news from one of my ex students who went off to Uni in September.
She became part of their dance society and has just been given the opportunity to become a choreography and teacher
in Jazz and Contemporary for the new starters.
Very Proud teacher!
Made
Thai Tom Yum Soup.
So easy with the paste from Sainsburys. Just add mushrooms, prawns and fish stock and done in 10 mins.
So tasty and so quick.
And Lastly
Its been bank holiday and half term this week so me and Little B have spent a lot of time together which has been fab!
Shame B has been so busy with work and trying to catch up on a mountain of paperwork.
We’ve been to the park, had ice cream, been to a pony centre, seen family, packed some more boxes, spent a lot of time cuddling, built lego castles and lots more-all for another post!
I’m linking up with butwhymummywhy for her Little Loves Linky
which is being hosted by Sian at PottyMouthedMummy this week, while Morgana is on holiday.
What a busy half term you’ve had. It’s always lovely when you hear that your ex-pupils are doing well, although it quite often makes me realise how old I’m getting. xx

I know it makes me feel all warm and fuzzy (not the getting old bit). I was teaching the other day and was explaining something and said “look I’m ……. 20yrs older than you” oh God 😳

That’s fantastic about your student Gemma! I used to be a teacher many moons ago, and seeing pupils thrive and do well was such a lovely feeling!
The soup looks so delicious. My husband doesn’t eat mushrooms or prawns though – i’ll maybe have to go it alone!! 🙂
Have a great weekend lovely xx
