Welcome to this weeks Little Loves which consists of a mess, exhaustion and The Four Collection.
Read
I was gutted when I finished reading the Divergent Series and was glad to see there were a few little extras.
The Four Collection by Veronica Roth is the back story of Four from the Divergent series.
Its 4 short stories leading up to and crossing over with the first Divergent book.
This week I got stuck in and have read the first two, (The Transfer and The Initiate) and started the third (The Son).
I have also tried to read bits of the Mollie Makes Blogging digital magazine.
Its been a little difficult as there seems to be an issue with my purchase and I can only see it on my phone not my iPad.
As you can imagine the zooming in etc is a little awkward, but its nice to actually see what other bloggers do and get some tips. I’ve obviously got a long way to go!
I actually had a few mini chances to pick up a Magazine and get a quick read in (while Little B played on the slide).
I like to be able to just flick through and see lots of different things.
Watched
Atlantis and Gotham my weekly fix!
I desperately want to catch up on ‘The C Word’, everyone has said it was amazing though obviously emotional.
I watched Cinderella with Little B, at bedtime one night even if he did fall asleep halfway through!
I felt like a big kid and loved it!
He now keeps asking to watch it before bed.
Wore
My Superdry heeled trainers came out a few times over the bank holiday weekend.
It was nice to not have to wear work stuff, but i find it hard to wear heels when trying to chase little B.
This is my in between.
Love this t-shirt B found for Little B in Morrison’s one day – ‘Warning This is my Grumpy Face’
Heard
‘No, not sleep’ when we’ve told Little B he’s got to stay in bed and go to sleep.
Last week he went into a big boy bed and generally it was a huge success however,
this week disaster has hit and he is up, constantly. Many times before falling asleep and generally from 5.30am. And he’s not napping so seriously no idea how he’s doing it!
We’re desperately holding onto not sticking the side back on the cot but exhaustion is kicking in.
Also the best phrase ever from Little B that has had us in stitches
‘Watch and Learn’
Made
A mess! Seriously I’ve been so tired housework has gone out the window this week (you don’t need to see a picture of that.)
Lamb chops with mini roast potatoes and minted veg.
B has done most of the cooking this week and he’s done a damn good job, considering he’s been equally as exhausted.
And lastly
It was so lovely to have the extra day at home with it being Bank Holiday. we didn’t really get up to much (post to follow) but it was a nice lazy family time, and the extra day meant we actually felt like we had some time together. Perfect.
I’m linking up with Morgana for her weekly little loves.
The C Word looked so good, I’m planning to save it to my iPad to watch on our hols. I love Sheridan Smith xx

She is amazing! I saw her when she did legally blonde in the west end and she won me over! I’ve saved it now just to find the one to watch x

I do love a bank holiday! Heels and little people are not s happy marriage! Stick with the bed… It will be ok! I’ve heard a lot of people praise the clock you can get that shows day/night for kids-haven’t used one, hence the terrible explanation! Sleep is never over rated!!

Thanks! I think it’s the Gro clock, a friend mentioned she was using one the other day! Yeah running after toddlers and falling flat on my face is not something I like to do but it’s nice not to just wear normal trainers every now and again! Have a good weekend x

Ha ha ‘watch and learn’, little monkey! Sounds like something my 3 year old would come out with. I watched Cinderella the other day with my little one when it was on Disney Junior, think I enjoyed it more than he did! Have a great weekend! x
