This week I’ve felt pretty exhausted. Going out Saturday night just knocked me and after three long work days, as well as not a lot of sleep Tuesday night as Little B has moved into a bed (eek) I crashed today and slept mid afternoon-oops!

Unfortunately even after being pointed in the right direction by Morgana I was unable to get hold of a paper copy of Mollie Makes Social Media. However I have been able to get a digital copy. Not quite the same but it’ll have to do. Also got the Blogging special edition! Really looking forward to getting stuck in and learning even more!

My weekly faves…..Atlantis, Poldark and Gotham. I completely Balled my eyes out at Poldark and am gutted it was the last in the series-can’t wait for series 2.

My new summer tune! I feel like it’s a bit of a guilty pleasure like I shouldn’t like it but I really do!

Wore
Little B got some new outfits from Next courtesy of Daddy this week! I love this one. I think the braces are so cute and he thinks the t shirt with a monkey and a dinosaur riding a bike is hysterical!
And I’ve been loving a side plait in my hair!
Also wishing I had a job which meant my daily outfit consisted of more than yoga pants, trainers and a work T-shirt. I feel like I may need to address my style!

This week I started or finished 7 new dances for my students festival pieces. Tap, lyrical, song and dance and character. It can be hard to find inspiration at this time of year when everyone wants new dances but we get there in the end! 6 weeks left of rehearsals before competition time.
And lastly
I’ve been putting myself out there a bit more each week! This week I’ve even got a few likes on my Facebook page and Instagram and my sister and a few other people I know have read my blog! Eek!
Just gotta keep moving forward slowly 😃 hopefully people like what they read?!

Blogging’s a funny old thing isn’t it? Even though I’ve been doing it for 4 years, it’s only been in the last 18 months that I’ve told people I know – no idea why!

I know I got straight on it but nothing! So have to keep zooming in on the phone…. annoying but still at least I get the info! It’s crazy, I suppose it’s nice to have that little bit of you as private even though it’s on the Internet (if that makes any sense) x

Ahhh, it’s so nice to find a fellow dance teacher/blogger/mummy! It’s a crazy life isn’t it – I’m currently on maternity leave from my full time job (secondary education – dance & performing arts) but teaching freelance in the evenings for a local foreign exchange school. I can have up to 40+ students in a class at a time, who don’t speak english! Always fun!
Do you teach secondary too? I miss the rehearsal and show process of school – I’m returning back to work just in time for the summer show which is ‘Back the the 80’s’.
My husband was the only person that knew about my blog. Until a good friend and colleague of mine discovered my Instagram, then read my blog. I just kind of want it to be my private space.

Hey stacie, well I work in a preschool and run my own performing arts school so pretty much all the time with kids so the blog is my little bit of headspace and actually it can be quite nice that no one really knows. I teach from 2yrs-adult ballet tap modern drama singing etc. I love it but it takes up so much time and energy x

I was lucky to get the Mollie Makes special editions in magazine format, think you have to get in really quick though by the sounds of it as loads of people haven’t been able to get their hands on them. They are great though. I still need to make time to read my Social Media one. I’ve had a flick through but I need to read it properly when the kids aren’t around.
It’s funny I’ve been blogging for 6 years and no one in my family (or even my non blogging friends) know that I blog! No idea how I’ve kept it a secret for so long but I kind of like my own little piece of the internet now. I used to worry they’d find it and now I really don’t mind if they do. I enjoy it and that’s all that matters. I’ll have to go follow you on your social media accounts now 😉

The Mollie Makes special editions are fab aren’t they?! I was so lucky to find paper copies of both in my local WHSmith last week. I’m learning lots.
I really want to watch Gotham, but I have so much other stuff to watch first! Not enough hours in the day!
